By placing an order on handvark.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We recommend that you read them carefully before placing an order.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on handvark.com.

All prices are displayed in local currencies where applicable. Payment is processed in DKK at checkout. Prices shown for orders within Denmark and the EU include VAT.

HANDVÄRK ApS reserves the right to correct pricing errors, typographical errors and other inaccuracies on the website.

DELIVERY

We offer free delivery for orders within the EU, excluding Greenland and the Åland Islands.

Standard delivery is to the curb. In Denmark, you may have the option to upgrade to indoor delivery with the freight forwarder.

Delivery times are stated on the relevant product page or in your order confirmation. Most HANDVÄRK products are made to order unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Transport damage

In the event of transport damage, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide photos of the product, the damage and the original packaging, and contact us at info@handvark.com.

The 48-hour period is a request to help us handle transport damage quickly and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

If you are based outside the EU and wish to purchase from HANDVÄRK FURNITURE, please contact info@handvark.com or visit our global map of retailers.

LEGAL GUARANTEE & COMPLAINTS

As a consumer, you have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee in accordance with applicable consumer law. The legal guarantee covers defects or lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery and become apparent within the applicable legal guarantee period.

If you receive a product with a defect or damage, please contact us as soon as possible at info@handvark.com. Please include your order number, describe the issue and provide photos where relevant.

If the complaint is justified, we will, in accordance with applicable law, offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement. Where repair or replacement is not possible or appropriate, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a refund.

The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect use, misuse, lack of proper care or other circumstances arising after delivery.

HANDVÄRK FURNITURE will cover reasonable return costs where required under applicable consumer law.

EU LEGAL GUARANTEE

Consumers in the EU are protected by a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years for goods purchased from a professional seller.

PAYMENT

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

For stock items, payment is normally charged when the order is dispatched.

For made-to-order items, payment may be charged at the time of ordering, where permitted by applicable law.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, HANDVÄRK FURNITURE products are made to order.

Once an order has been placed and payment has been authorised, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

PAYMENT SECURITY

Payments on handvark.com are processed through secure payment systems using encrypted connections.

HANDVÄRK FURNITURE does not have access to your full payment card details. Payment information is handled securely by the relevant payment provider in accordance with applicable security and data protection requirements.

TAXES & VAT

For orders delivered within the EU, prices include Danish VAT where applicable.

For orders delivered outside the EU, VAT may not be charged. The customer may be responsible for local VAT, customs duties, import taxes and other charges imposed by the destination country.

Any such charges are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Please note that customs clearance and payment of local charges may affect delivery times.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

When purchasing online as a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period begins when you receive the goods. If an order consists of several items delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when you receive the final item.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods. You can do so by contacting us at info@handvark.com. Your message must clearly state that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

It is not sufficient simply to refuse delivery or fail to collect the parcel without notifying us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in certain circumstances. This may include goods that have been made or clearly customised according to the customer's individual specifications.

As many HANDVÄRK products are made to order, any applicable exception to the right of withdrawal will be clearly stated before the purchase is completed.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your decision to withdraw. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14-day period has expired.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

The goods must be packed securely and appropriately for transport. You are responsible for the goods until they are received by HANDVÄRK or our designated return address.

If you wish to return an order, please contact us at info@handvark.com before sending the goods back. We will provide you with the relevant return instructions.

Please include your order number or a copy of your order confirmation/invoice with the return.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with applicable law. This normally includes the cost of standard delivery, while any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method is not necessarily refundable.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

If the value of the goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be liable for the resulting depreciation in value.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. We may share relevant information with trusted service providers where necessary to process your order, provide payment and delivery services, operate our website or otherwise fulfil our contractual obligations.
